【摘要】:Itisdifficulttooveremphasizetheimportanceofthespalltest.Porcelainenameledaluminumthatfailsthistestwillprobablyspallinserviceifsubjectedtomoistureorweathering.1.1Thesetestmethodscoveraccelerateddeterminationoftheresistanceofporcelainenamelcoatingsonaluminumalloystospallingfromexposuretomoistureorweathering.TestMethodA,usinga5%solutionofammoniumchloride,requires96-himmersionwhileTestMethodB,usinga1%solutionofantimonytrichloride,iscompletedafter20hofimmersion.Thespallingtendencyisevaluatedbythesamecriteriainbothmethods.Whileeithermethodissuitableformagnesiumsiliconalloys,suchas6061,TestMethodBispreferredforsimplealloysorcommerciallypurealuminum,suchas1100.
