【摘要】:Theenergyinputrateandthermostatcalibrationtestsareusedtoconfirmthatthedrawerwarmerisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanageenergydemandsandtoknowhowquicklythedrawerwarmercanbereadyforoperation.Idleenergyrateandholdingenergyratecanbeusedbythefoodserviceoperatortoestimateenergyconsumptionduringoperatingperiodsandtoconsiderenergyconsumptionwhenchoosingadrawerwarmer.Thedrawerpantemperatureanddrawerpantemperatureuniformitycanbeusedbyanoperatortochooseadrawerwarmerwhichmeetstheirfoodholdingneeds.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatesthepreheat,idle,andholdingenergyconsumptionandtemperatureuniformityofdrawerwarmers.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectadrawerwarmerandunderstanditsenergyperformanceandtemperatureuniformity.Adrawerwarmerisdescribedasacommercialkitchenappliancethatconsistsofoneormoreheateddrawersandwhichisusedtoholdhotfood(usuallynogreaterthan200176;F)thathasbeencookedinaseparateappliance,ataspecifiedtemperature.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletofreestandingandbuilt-inelectricdrawerwarmersequippedfor:1.2.1Industry-standard12x20x6-in.(nominalsize)pans,or1.2.2Standard-oversized15x20x5-in.(nominalsize)pans.1.3Thedrawerwarmercanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrate(10.2),1.3.2Energyconsumptionrateatmaximumsetting(10.2),1.3.3Temperaturecalibration(10.3),1.3.4Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(10.4),1.3.5Idleenergyrate(10.5),1.3.6Holdingenergyrate(10.6),and1.3.7Temperatureuniformity(10.6).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
