【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdefinesperformancerequirementsforhelmetsusedinnonmotorizedrecreationalsnowsports(suchasskiing,snowboarding,andotheralpinesports).Thisspecificationisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.Althoughahelmetthatmeetsthisspecificationwillhelpreducetheriskofsometypesofinjuriestotheheadatslowerspeeds,theprotectionislimited.Theuserisresponsibleforparticipatinginthesportwithinhis/herabilitiesandthenatureofthesnowconditionswhichmayvarywidely.Compliancewiththecommonsenserulesofthesport''ssafety,includinganyapplicableresponsibilitycodes,isessentialtohelpreducetheriskofpersonalinjury.1.2AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.1.3Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationinitsentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthestandardandshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthestandard.
