【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulforresearchanddevelopment,qualityassurance,regulatorycomplianceandspecificationacceptancepurposes.Thedeterminationoftheorderofachemicalreactionortransformationatspecifictemperaturesortimeconditionsisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.TheactivationenergyresultsobtainedbythismethodmaybecomparedwiththoseobtainedfromTestMethodE698fornthorderandautocatalyticreactions.Activationenergy,pre-exponentialfactorandreactionorderresultsbythismethodmaybecomparedtothoseforTestMethodE2041fornthorderreactions.1.1TestMethodAdetermineskineticparametersforactivationenergy,pre-exponentialfactorandreactionorderusingdifferentialscanningcalorimetryfromaseriesofisothermalexperimentsoverasmall(8764;10K)temperaturerange.Thistreatmentisapplicabletolownthorderreactionsandtoautocatalyzedreactionssuchasthermosetcuringorpyrotechnicreactionsandcrystallizationtransformationsinthetemperaturerangefrom300to900K(30to630x00B0;C).Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytothesetypesofexothermicreactionswhenthethermalcurvesdonotexhibitshoulders,discontinuitiesorshiftsinbaseline.1.2TestMethodBalsodeterminestheactivationenergyofasetoftime-to-eventandisothermaltemperaturedatageneratedbythisorotherprocedures.1.3TestMethodCdeterminestheactivationenergyandinitialheatflowfromaseriesofisothermalexperimentsoverasmalltemperaturerange.Becausethisapproachonlydetermineskineticparameterofactivationenergy,noknowledgeofthekineticmodelisrequired.Thereforeitisconsideredtobex201C;modelfreex201D;.Thisapproachisbroadlyapplicabletoavarietyofcomplicatedreactionsincludingthosenotwellunderstood.1.4SIunitsarethestandard.1.5ThistestmethodissimilarbutnotequivalenttoISO11357,Part5,andprovidesmoreinformationthantheISOstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.
