【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationestablishesminimumrequirementsforthedesignandperformanceofbunkbeds.Italsocontainsrequirementsforlabelingandinstructionalmaterial.1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizeaccidentstochildrenresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofbunkbeds.Thisconsumersafetyspecificationiswrittenwithinthecurrentstateoftheartofbunkbedtechnologyanddoesnotaddressbunkbedsthatareblatantlymisusedorareusedinacarelessmannerthatdisregardswarningstatementsandsafetyinstructionsprovidedwitheachbunkbed.1.3Forthepurposeofthisconsumersafetyspecification,abunkbed(hereinafterreferredtoasabed)isdefinedasanybedinwhichtheundersideofthefoundationisover30in.(762mm)fromthefloor.1.4Thisconsumersafetyspecificationdoesnotaddressbunkbedsforinstitutionaluse(forexample,inprisons,militaryfacilities,dormitories,andsoforth).1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunits,aswellasanyspecifiedISO/ANSIstandardhardware,aretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section5,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
